Back in the 1980s it was hit or miss. They were only correct about 50% of the time. However, today, if the weather forecasters say it is going to be hot, you know there is about a 95% chance that they are right. If they say there is a 40% chance or higher of rain, most of the time, it rains that day. But how can they tell in advance what the weather is going to be like?
