Well... This past month I have accomplished a lot... that had nothing to do with photography. I went to a horse show in Seattle for a week, and the very day I got back, I was stepped on quite hard by my 1600 lb horse who just happened to have gotten shoes on only days before. Of course, I'm sure you can't really imagine what it is like to have 1600 lbs of iron clad hoof stomping on your foot unless you've experienced it, but let me tell you it hurt, a lot, and the result... fractured foot. But I wasn't done there, I decided to walk around a cross-country course two days later in my muck boots, and of course ended up with a blister. Not but a few days later I decided to repeat said action, and this time rubbed the blister open (keep in mind this is on the same foot that is broken). Two days later, I was conveniently stepped on by the 90 lb child that I babysit two days a week, full weight on her heel on my broken foot... yes, I nearly died. That same day while out picking daises with them, I stepped in a gigantic pricker bush and got a 1" thorn embedded in my foot. And finally, to top it off, today while in the pool I unintentionally kicked the ladder, and was later stepped on by the dog.
All this goes to say, I have photographed very little in the past long while, so decided to put together a bit of a montage for my "Cowgirl with a Camera" facebook page, and here is the result:
