We see them every day, everywhere we go. The media assaults us with visual representations of their products, and someone has to come up with the design, the art, and the production.
For this contest, you’re going to play all the roles needed to create an advertisement. You will be photographing what you need, laying it out in a program of your choice, editing to your heart’s desire, and submitting it to us.
The ad can be of anything that is okay based on Proboards TOS and the guidelines of this forum.
A resource that might come in handy is: www.brandsoftheworld.com/
That site will allow you to find brands and logos that you can use in your design.
For all intents and purposes, at the bottom of your ad in the right hand corner, you should add the following:
“This ad was created for artistic purposes only, and is not endorsed by x company”
Rules:
-The image must be created for this contest, and must be your own work.
-You may submit a single image only.
-All photographs in this entry must be taken by you. No stock photography allowed. You may use other resources, such as brushes and renders.
-One entry per person.
-Once you’ve entered, you CANNOT edit your post for any reason! If you make a mistake, please PM an administrator to fix it for you. This way we can make sure no one cheats.
Deadline: June 25th 2010 at 11:59pm EST (that’s GMT -5. In California, or PST, it’d be 8:59pm, and in England it’d be 4:59am)
