Monday at work (I work at a bagel shop) I pulled a stupid, making it hard to be online. Went to clean the bagel slicer, forgot the blade was still showing annnnnd... I sliced my right index finger open pretty good. It's incredibly painful, I can't really bend it because it breaks the wound back open... Meaning I'm down a main finger right now. It's difficult to type, I can't use the shutter button on my camera because I can't properly grip or set up anything, and it's a wonder I can manager to still hold a knife at work.
But basically, until it heals a bit more, there's not much I can do and typing is a bit troublesome. Plus, I don't cope with pain well and it gives me a short temper. So after realizing some other mistakes I already made, rather than repeat them, I'll have to lay low for another day or two until this is to a point that I can work with.
April 21 Edit: Neosporin is GOD. Typing isn't such a bother anymore, I can slightly bend it again, and at this rate I should be able to support and use my camera properly by the weekend.

Oh no! So sorry!! Back in January I managed to stick my index finger in a stick blender...while it was running. 8 stitches helped the healing Thank God it was my left index so I can take pictures! So sorry it was your camera hand!! Hope it heals up soon!

What the heck is a stick blender? LOL;;;
And yes, it's pretty much healed now thank goodness! Still causes me a good amount of pain when I whack it on the counters and stuff, but it doesn't bleed anymore. xD

Ha! because I'm an idiot. There's an easy to use (too easy to use) button on the side make it go. There was some food stuck in the bender part, so like an idiot I stuck my finger up there to push the food out of the way...my other finger slipped on the button...and I'm sure your imagination is adequate for the rest of the story Moral of the story - use something else to get out stuck food.

Ya know... you and I probably share the same brain Lauren. I probably would have done the same thing. Hence why I stuck my hand in the bagel slicer to try and remove stuck on food instead of using our pressure washer sink thing. :-P
