These are the guidelines for this board. Please be aware of them while you are posting in here so that we can ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone here. If you have a question about any of the guidelines, please don't hesitate to ask a moderator of this board about them.
-Please do not post all 30 of your images from a photo shoot. We don't want to have to make that big of a decision for you. Please go through and weed out any that are of bad focus/un-salvageable exposure/un-salvageable crop/ect... so that you show us no more than 10 from one session at a time. Preferably though, under 5 photos.
-If you are posting a piece that's in the process of being photomanipulated and are using stock resources, please make sure to share with us where you got the stock.
-We are not gods, so please don't expect an exact answer right away. You will probably get several different responses from both members and moderators on how to achieve a desired effect. Just choose the one that works best for you.
-Very important! If you need help with post-production, please let us know what program(s) you're using to perform them! We can't provide proper assistance if we don't know what tools you will have available.
-This board is not for receiving feedback on imagery, but rather help with finishing it. Therefore, we will not be giving you feedback on your photography skills persay, but instead feedback on what to do in post, or to help make a selection. Once you have applied the desired effects, please post the finished image in Critique or Digital Darkroom, ect, to get feedback.
-Very important! By posting in here, you are giving us permission to touch a photo ourselves in software that allows for post-production in order to show you any ideas we might have to offer you. This does not mean we have any rights over your imagery, nor are we allowed to use it for our own personal means. It is simply to better help you.
-You may also post several of the same photo, no more than five, with different effects applied to it in order to determine the better option. IE: With a vignette, without a vignette. In color or in black and white. Ect...
-You are free to take any advice given to you in here, and you're free to decide that what advice was given to you is not what you actually wanted/needed. There will be no hard feelings.
-You are allowed to use this board to work on things for a contest, but you must state as much. Some people might not feel comfortable helping someone they're competing with on a photo, and if there are any specific judges for a contest, they cannot help you work on an entry. It just wouldn't be fair. Things outside of the contests don't need to be mentioned.
These guidelines are subject to change at any time as it is determined necessary/
