I'm just curious as to how many of you have had to change the diopter settings on your camera to meet your eye needs, and how many of you who have done so wear some form of prescription eyewear.
I had to adjust mine quite a bit, probably because I have such poor eyesight. But what was interesting was while I was at Hallmark learning photography and playing with all the different equipment and stuff; my eye doctor couldn't give me a new prescription because my eyes kept changing from all the different lenses and stuff I was looking through constantly. My eyes were trying to keep up with those optics, and failing. Whoops. LOL
But aside from that, I've found adjusting my diopter very useful, too.
And for those who are unaware, the diopter is a tool that changes the settings in your viewfinder, but doesn't affect your actual photographs.

I've changed mine. But I hardly ever look at the readings in the viewfinder anyway, haha.

I have set mine when I first got the cameras, and I do were glasses, but I have never adjusted them since.

I think I've adjusted mine twice since I got the D200. Not just for the readings inside, but because it makes things look sharp for me through the actual lens, too.

I wear glasses, but I've only changed my diopter once on my new camera. I was just following the steps in the manual for setting up the camera and preparing it for future references. I don't know if I would have to do it again when I get new lenses, I did try to look some up on Adorama, they're very, very expensive...
