Hello, all!
I was just wondering, which file type would be better to use when I take photos and edit them later? I've been using JPEG's all the time, never actually tried out RAW to be honest. But, I'm thinking about starting it and would just like people's opinions on which is better.

RAW is going to give you the most control over how you want your images to look...it doesn't throw out any information from the picture while the camera is taking it while jpg does.

As with many photography questions, the answer is "it depends".
Until you really master your gear, JPG is a pretty good way to go. It allows you more time to actually take pictures, instead of post processing pictures. RAW files give you far more latitude on the final image, but it takes a lot more time to do it right.

I definitely think that RAW is better, but not good for my laptop as when I try to edit them the screen would not show all the options available and such. I would definitely use RAW when I can get CS5, until then I would most likely stick with JPG's.
