Remember that camera I wanted to get and did? Well, I got to try it out and it was awesome, but wouldn't let me take any pictures because of there not being a card. I read through the manual and saw that it could take both CF and xD cards. The CF card is bigger than the xD, and our new computer would take that, but my laptop wouldn't. Which should I get? I know I could email the pictures from the new computer to the laptop and then work on them from there, but that could mess things up, wouldn't it? I also figured since the CF card is bigger it would take more pictures but I could be wrong.

The physical size of the card doesn't matter, it's how many gig it can hold that determines how many photos you can take. And remember that USB cord you got with the camera? Regardless of if you have a CF port in your laptop, that cord is what enables you to download photos directly off your camera to your computer. That's how I do it when I'm done. Personally, I'm fond of CF cards, but it's up to you.

I should be getting either one today, I will probably get the one that's cheaper - when I checked they had a xD card with 2GB that was only around 20 dollars. I also got a TV cord so that's awesome. I should definitely try to take some pictures using the TV, lol!
I love this new camera, lol. I can't wait to see how the pictures would come out. I also realized this ---
The higher the shutter speed, the brighter the picture gets. I mean, like at 10" from 1/1000, not the other way around. I was like, oh, cool. Now I understand it a little bit better.
I will let you guys know what I get when I can. =) And maybe upload a few pictures, too, for critique. Right now, I'm trying to design a website to at least get started (not planning to host it until like my birthday.)

Shutter speeds don't get higher or lower--they get slower or faster. But good luck!

lol, that's what I meant, then. I got a CF card, 4GB. The xD card would've been 2GB but it was a dollar more than the CF. Kind of interesting how things turned out.
