Inspiration in... Music Videos!?

I'm not a big fan of modern mainstream music, I think most of it is rubbish. I love the classics, love the 80s, love some garage bands. But recently I've found that I enjoy some of Lady Gaga's music (please, let's not get into the love and hate of her), but more importantly, I found that I cannot stop watching, pausing, and studying her videos!

I wouldn't have found her if a friend of mine hadn't asked me what the hell was going on in her video for Bad Romance, which is where all this started.

Something about her makeup and ideas gets my artistic blood fired up and makes me want to create like never before.

I look all over for inspiration, I never thought I'd be getting it from a music video of all things!

You can find inspiration in anything if you think about it. The strangest things sometimes get my mind moving.

Yeah, what Net said. I usually find my inspiration from looking at pictures but sometimes I find it elsewhere such as music videos or movies, or even the RPGs I play in.

I sometimes get inspired by just the way the light hits the fabric of someone's shirt. ;D
