Kind of saw this wasn't around, unless it's on a page after the second or third. I don't usually read after the second or third page, XD. Why not also explain why they are your favorites, too? Doesn't have to be much, there may be various reasons for you have chosen someone, or more, as your favorite(s). =).
Tom Ang - He wrote a very informational book in which helped me learn quite a bit about photography and photo-editing. Of course, I've also seen some of his photos in said book and I like the one with the donkey, just because it was a colorful picture and had an interesting composition of things.
Maria McGinley - She's part of my inspiration to keep trying and keep going. Basically, she's one of my motivating points. Her pictures impress me so much and makes me wish I could get my own pictures looking like hers, or better. Of course, some are a tad bit too dark, but they still come off nicely. I also like her brother, such a good model, and I hope to someday work with them both.
Antonio Ysursa - Another inspiration, this time to traveling around the world. Of course, part of his family lives in Spain, but his pictures are similar to Maria McGinley's.
Bernard Faucon - Although I've seen only a few of his pictures, they've always come off as interesting. His ideas based on the war is intriguing, and using wax models (something like that) for most of his photos makes him seem more original than other photographers.
Sally Mann - She's a good photographer and seems to always use an old camera, yet comes up with good photos. I plan to order her book, "Immediate Family". Her relationship with her children can be clearly seen in some of the photos, of how comfortable they are with each other and such.
All five are inspirations. I've always wanted to do photography - mostly portraiture - ever since I was around six, but didn't really realize until when I was in 12th grade. I also want to work with children to fight agaisnt child abuse, to help find missing children, and to capture their innocence and youth to the best of my ability. These five are just my top favorites. The sixth favorite is the photographer from BeautifulYouth, "Rick". He's got really good skills at photo manipulation and all.
... That was long enough! Your turn! XD Maybe one of your favorites will become another one of my favorites... =p. Oh, yeah, and my seventh favorite? Marian Murdoch. WOW! Her pictures rock!
This would also be a good way to know more about photographers, right?
