I don't know about anyone else, but winter is my weakest season when it comes to my life and my photography. It's almost always gloomy and cold, everything is dead, and I'm just generally not motivated to do anything. I wanted to do some stuff with the snow this year, but it's just not cooperating.
But I notice my little trend with photography. I have a lot during the spring and summer, back off in the fall, and then next to nothing in the winter.
Anyone else suffer similar?

Well, it's only one more month to go and then spring is here.
I think I suffer most of the time because I'm actually hardly motivated. I guess it's because of lack of support during the times when I want to do it the most, and being confined to my house now doesn't help wonders for it, either.

Winter is evil. It's always so foggy here... and not in a good way... in a mother nature saying "haha! you can't see five feet in front of you, and you can't do anything about it!" way. On top of that I can't ride my horses in the winter because of all the ice, and since I'm in school I can't go to the stable and ride my trainer's horse very often. Our winter lasts through June and starts in September... such is life at the base of the Rocky Mountains... so joyous. It's super rare to have a nice day and people here always get depressed in the winter because of the lack of sun. It's lame... but I still love Montana. The sun was actually out today, but I was in class from 9:30 am to 3:20 pm and then I went and rode Hershey since my trainer is gone and needed someone to ride, so by the time I got home it was going on 6 and I was super tired and not motivated at all, so no photos were produced.

Wow, your winter is worse than ours. =O I never thought I'd see a day when that happened!
