This week's theme is: Candle
This week the prompt is an object. How can you use it in a photograph? When you hear this word, what comes to mind?
Some Ideas: -Use it as a main subject or a supporting subject -Still life creation -Portraiture accent
You don't have to use those ideas, those are simply to help any who may be struggling with this theme.
Please also feel free to ask any and all questions here, and discuss the entries. However, please do not quote the images.
THE WINNER Sidney Hoggard is the winner this time around, congrats! His image used a different idea with the candles, and had a different angle from the rest of the submitted images, making it the most creative here.

Q: I've tried before but could never catch flames, even in a fireplace, in a photo. I got PLENTY of candles so would like to try for this particular theme. ^.^

I can only suggest a fast shutter speed and a low ISO (ISO 50, 100).

Sorry for the Double Post - ------- Macro: No. Zoom: Yes. Flash: No. Setting: Candelight Used tripod at first but pictures weren't coming out as I'd like. They were often too blurry or too dark. I had found out, though, that my camera goes from 1/1000 to 16.0" in shutter speed. When I tried to manually set the aperture to F3.6, it would not go down any further than F4.8. It is kind of irritating to me as I had a good previsualization of how I wanted thing to look, and they always came out wrong. This one was just one of the best two in my opinion, which only two stood out from a hundred. I had worked for fifteen minutes taking the pictures.

Image Link: Time Taken: 20:30ish Shutter: 1/15sec Aperture: f/2.8 E.V -1.33 ISO: 50 Camera: Casio Exilim EX-Z1000 Comments: Was wandering what to do for this and all the time there was a candle on the coffee table; I did have something else in mind but I liked the way the wax had melted and then resembled solid lava but still active lower down.

Oh wow! That'd be one of those candles I'd never actually burn because it's too pretty!
