Aaron Speer, Graphic Design and Photographer extraordinaire.
July 12, 2007, my older sister married who was to become my biggest inspiration for my photography. Being possibly the world's biggest nerd in middle school, Aaron has said many times "I didn't have any friends in middle school so I just did stuff with computers." With the Photoshop CS2 Bible, he read the entire thing from cover to cover, and learned everything there was to know about photoshop through that book and through every tutorial in existence. As of now he holds the highest SAT and ACT scores with a 34 on the ACT, only 2 points short of perfection, and a score higher even than one of the guys in his class who went on to Yale to study law.
He will be graduating Northwestern College in Minnesota this spring with a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design... and let me tell you, his work is simply phenomenal. A tiny snippet of what he has done can be viewed here: aaronspeer.com/
When he and my sister came down for the holidays, he plopped the very1500 page Photoshop CS2 Bible that he learned from into my hands and told me he expects me to read it cover to cover like he did. I plan to... and hope that maybe someday I can do what he does. Best brother-in-law ever.
