Week 23: Lipstick

This week's theme is: Lipstick

This week the prompt is an object How can you use it in a photograph? And if you don't own any, the Dollar Store has cheapies, or any female friend will have some; maybe your mother.

-Model Accent

You don't have to use those ideas, those are simply to help any who may be struggling with this theme.

THE WINNER
It was good to see entries this week! And both were incredibly creative, and made choosing a difficult task. Each has a charm to it that draws the viewer in, and makes you want to stare longer. But in the end what won the vote was Izuna's use of window light for her image, and saying so. Not many people would be able to creatively use the light coming through the frosted window, and so it was the deciding factor. Congratulations!

thanks. it's amazing what happens when you have a favourite lipstick and some snow. our kitchen window's are frosted over so that's how i got the soft lighting and then i just did a 55mm macro photo of the lipstick sitting on my little mirror. i rather like this one myself ^^

I almost didn't try this one, but decided at the last minute to give it a shot. Once I got into it I ended up taking about 30 shots and narrowed them down to 5 I liked best. Here is the one I chose to enter.

If I'm still awake in about 30min, that's when it's judged. And for all the contests and such on here, you get a ticket that gives you a free ride in either Critique or Digital Darkroom that says you can post an image with or without having been an active participant in commenting on others' work.
