It's the end of the year, and I'm sure we all have a lot of photographs stored up from the past twelve months. And over the months we have learned, changed, and grown. Our photos have become more meaningful, and more artistic. Our eyes have been fine-tuned to the world of composition and light even more, and we are seeing like we never saw before.
Because of all this, I present to you the award for the Most Improved Photographer of 2009 here on Phototique!
Here's how it works!
From now until Christmas, everyone who wants to participate is to submit two images.
The first one has to be from January-May of 2009 (or the earliest you have if you're that new at photography), and the second one has to be from June-December of 2009. What we want to see ideally, is your growth during this past year. All photographs submitted must be taken within 2009, that's it.
Then, come December 26th I am going to set up a poll, and everyone will be allowed two votes! That way if you really must, you can vote for yourself, and then the other vote will go to someone else. I don't recommend voting for yourself, but I know it could happen.
On December 31st at 11:59pm EST, the polls will close. The person with the most votes will be deemed the Most Improved Photographer of 2009.
So, without further ado, lets see some imagery! Or questions, if you have them.
