ArticleI think this is an important read for everyone here, especially those who enjoy working in Photoshop. I've seen a few mistakes myself, mostly the abuse of the blur tool and gaussian blur. If you hear me tell you that your photo feels like Gaussian Slime, that's what I'm referring to. It was a common mistake made by my fellow students while I was in college. I didn't like the tool too much (mostly because I didn't like spending time in Photoshop! LOL) so I can honestly say I never made it.

The layers thing I can relate to. Now that I've actually started using Photoshop more, I always make new layers, and name them so I don't forget which is which. I don't use grids, because mostly I don't do the kind of work that needs them. But the thing I am guilty of is desaturating to make things black and white. I didn't know about the method in that article. Learn something new every day!
