I am curious. On some sites, each month a member who stands out either for being very kind, or posting a lot, or just generally making a statement can be spotlighted. Is this something that might interest you guys?

Ehh, where will we have room to highlight the user? I think the best way to honour our members is to display the best photo every month like we already are.

It would definitely take some finagling with codes to figure out how to display the MOTM, but I'm pretty sure it can be done.

But is having five squares really ideal? I think the squares shouldn't be any smaller. And if we add something, we must remove something. Again, this is my opinion.

Oh no, MOTM codes are usually embedded into the Info Centre.

I know it is possible to have a column down the left for additional site content; this proboard site is a good example of what additional codes can be used on proboards: - computertypes.proboards.com/index.cgiUsing this method would allow you to keep the format you already have regarding the showcase. |

I've thought about it, but I'm not fond of it myself because I feel like I'd be favouring one showcase piece over another. However, I do have ideas on how to incorporate it all, it's just going to take a very skilled coder and designer to help me... and I don't have that yet. Well, I do have someone that offered to help with the design, but he's fairly busy so we'll see. But I don't know how well he can code.

I think we should put it up for a vote. One girl one guy. I do that on my sites and it works pretty well.

Right now I don't think we have enough active members to do one girl and one guy, so it'd just be one per month. Usually I see the girl and guy ones on the role playing forums. Perhaps when we get more active members though, that would be an option. As it is now though, we have far more guys active then girls.
