Twitter

So Twitter is a social networking site that features micro-blogging. On it I follow a lot of photographers, so I'm wondering how many of the photographers here use it, and for what.

Personally, I use it for everything. Life updates, photography updates, forum updates, and blog updates.

My second question would be, would you like it if I set up a Twitter account just for updates here on Phototique? Would it make it easier for everyone to see what's going on?

I too, have Twitter. Despite what I say that life & work shouldn't be mixed, I use my Twitter both professional and personally. Mostly because what I do in my photography is tied so closely to my personal life that it's almost inseparable. And visa-versa. I do post unrelated photography updates more often than I should, however.

I'd like to find a perfect hybrid between my personal life and my career/hobby but as I'm learning from Hybrid cars this may be a fantasy.

Twitter just does not float my boat at all. I don't even care for forums ~ PHP to blame for that it does not float my boat either. If it was not for this site I doubt I would entertain anything to do with PHP and it's limitations or expertise/restrictions of the server owners etc.

I have a Twitter. I update with a mix of personal and photography stuff.

A Twitter for Phototique isn't a bad idea, but the emails (which are very nice, by the way =]) do a fine job of keeping us updated.

Accebera- It's good to hear you mention the emails, I wasn't sure if anyone actually read them. xD

I use mine for personal business. I don't really want to bother having to keep two accounts active and pandering to different audiences.

Just goes to show how good I feel the information etc within this site is to myself; but bring back the look and control you had with msn communities that's what I miss very much.

There should be an option that says I have one, but don't use it hahaha

I got one a while back when it was catching on and I used it for a bit and then I stopped...I didn't really see the point.

All right, decided to go ahead and create a twitter for the forum, mostly to advertise with since Twitter can be excellent for networking and such. I'll also be posting updates about the forum on it. Don't worry though, if you don't have a twitter, I'll still be sending out the emails.
