How many people have gotten hit with the snow this year? I know at one point FL was the only continental state in the US to not have snow!  Where I am, we've had 4 or 5 storms so far. Kinda glad the latest one missed us. Haha |

Haha, yeah, we're expecting another two feet by the end of tomorrow. Got me out of going to work though, I get to stay home and work in my PJs instead!  There's supposed to be ice here though too tonight. :\ So long as I can get out and get photos of it... I won't bitch quite as loudly. >_>; |

The vast majority of Montana is one giant snow storm for six months... this year we've had a lot of negative temperatures though and not quite as much snow... tons of ice though which I despise... and of course my car broke down when it was well below zero.

A big congratulations as well to our contest winner, Net! It was a close contest, incredibly close in fact! Everyone was within points of each other and it came down to a difference of one point for Net to take the Showcase spot and the win. I certainly hope that we see just as close a contest for this month as well!

Unfortunately, there is no Community Practice image. However, I remembered once that Marian had mentions making the blank space more like an advert to get entries, and since I really hated that blank space I took her up on the idea. So it's not blank, and the photo is something I did that could be sized down and have space for copy. If you think you have an image like this as well that you wouldn't mind used in the same manner, feel free to send it in and I will add it. And then we will have a selection to use and rotate.
I'm sure you also remember that the last month where we didn't have a Community Practice to feature, it defaulted to my image (to avoid that blank space as well). Well, I did not want myself up there twice, and since my staff team chose my image for the Photo of the Month, I couldn't do both.
