What kind of things inspire your photography?
Honestly, I tend to just keep an idea book on DA for good poses and lighting styles, and maybe imagery that causes a stream-of-consciousness thought pattern of different images I could create. I also tag pages in magazines with good photography to either mimic the poses or the lighting, and eventually tear the pages out and stick them in protective sleeves in a binder.

Great question! I'll have to think about it a bit more, but the first word that came to mind was "mood." As in the mood of the subjects. I do all candid shots, so while I'm watching people walking down the street, or feeding animals at the zoo, having a picnic in the park, or whatever, I'm inspired by the expressions on their faces and their body language. Laughing, crying, playing, hugging, dancing.. Any kind of emotional connection, and I want to take a picture of it.
And when I get the shot right, I'm inspired to go out and take more. But I'm sure that's true for pretty much everyone. ^.^

Sounds like you're more of a street photographer then, if you like to do candids like that.
