Motion is something that one can do interesting things with when it comes to photography. The main things you’ll see done however, is a choice between showing motion, and stopping motion. For this practice, you’re to choose whether you want to show motion or stop it, and then capture that goal. When you share your image, be sure to tell us what you were trying to accomplish. When it comes to stopping motion, you’re more likely to do so when using fast shutter speeds; generally 1/125sec or higher. To show motion, drag the shutter by keeping it slower; usually around 1/30sec or less. There are other techniques for stopping and showing motion as well, but these are the easiest out there. How this will Work:1. Take a photograph of something in motion, and either stop the motion or show the motion. State whether you were trying to show or stop the motion in your post. 2. Share that photograph and comment on the one above yours, or more if you desire 3. Receive feedback 4. Using the feedback you get, take a new photo and share it, repeating step 2. 5. Rinse and repeat as often as necessary. Remember! This is about improvement, so we’re hoping to see two photos or more in this thread from all participants! It's obviously way past the end date... but this seemed to fit in the category, so here it is.
