All right, I haven't gotten to this point yet, but would like to be ready when the time comes. I'm very confused at this point and would like some help.
I plan to help aspiring models, too, using my website to regularly update their portfolios whenever possible (and I would probably have projects for certain models just for the fun of it), but here's where I am confused.
How much would people usually charge?
I've put in my "Costs" draft that an individual photo would be $20.00 USD, and that a CD which should hold 100 pictures of the model would cost $40.00 USD. But for some reason I keep thinking that this should be something different.
Also, I'm trying to find out the best charges for providing my services as well. I went to this one photo company and they charged me a whopping $75 and they must've taken like 100 to 200 pictures and it was only an hour, and my mother and I ended up only liking at most five or six of them. I do not want to charge a ridiculous price for little things, I would like to be fair for both sides.
I'm currently reading up on a tutorial about selling prints, but figured I would come here for some help, too.
I've also been to other websites (modeling) where they would charge 70 bucks for a model's CD and yet it only features 100 pictures last I heard about them.
Like I said, I don't want to be too expensive, but I don't want to be too cheap, either! =)

Pricing yourself is the hardest part of being a photographer, but you have to know how to break it down. Time Materials Shipping Packaging And then what you're worth for your profit.
