I took a photo of a jet at an air museum, and then, later that day, took a photo of the fence and the fog and added them together. It was a fun exercise.

It's like the jet's coming at me! That's a really cool effect! I do feel like the fog needs some more definition to it though, since it just feels like gray water right now.

Yeah I like it too. It does have a lot of realism. But like Saknika, I think it needs some finishing touches.

Haha, a little makeup will do me good! xD
But nah, I think some cloud texture or something would finish it well. Just to make that fog a little more fog-like. You can see it around the jet, that it's fog, but elsewhere it's hard to tell.
I know once it's totally done though, it will be fantastic. I'm envious of your patience with Photoshop.

I think it's cool. Pethaps too much fog. I think if you make it seem that the plane's pushing aside the fog it would seem more realistic. Good work, too. Oh, and perhaps add a motion blur from behind, too. =)

I really like the lack of definition in the fog. If it would have been me doing the post work, I think I would love not made such a big hole in the middle of the frame for the nose of the plane to come through, but I would have dropped the opacity level of the while fog layer to give the plane just a little more definition.
The beauty of this type of work is that there are no right or wrong answers.
