Hi friends, Well need some tips for night photography. I have a Fuji film finepix s1000fd 10 mega pixel camera. I need to take some photographs for my company competition. It has to be of a historic place and I want mine to be at night so it looks really good and professional. I am already a very keen photographer but am not used to using my camera at night.

The real trick to night photography is long exposure and a tripod. You're going to want to set your camera up on a tripod for stability, and use a long shutter speed. Depending on how well lit the building is, you may want to take a few different exposures and combine them via HDR.

Also when using a long exposure and a tripod use your timer for the shutter so you don't move the camera when you press the shutter button.

Tripod is best suitable to stabilize and elevate a camera, or to support flashes or other photographic equipment. It may also allow for a more thoughtful approach to photography. So,i think it will comfortable and convenient to shoot for long exposure in night photography. to share a certain technique, that is great too! But please also consider sharing it as an addition to our Resources as well. If you are asking for help, please be polite at all times. If something doesn't work right, please do not start a fight with the person who gave the advice, they are only trying to help.
