Good morning all. It's grey and gloomy here today with very overcast skies. Sorry you couldn't sleep well Saknika. Do you often have trouble sleeping? The countryside around me is very pretty. Here is a picture I took of a field of cowslips and wild Green Wing Orchids on Friday. Again the light is not good, and we have not had much better since either. It belongs to the local wildlife trust along with quite a few more areas. It was originally a farm that had not used any agricultural chemicals at all on the land. The orchids will have been growing there for hundreds of years.

Would all this gloomy weather mean you're coming into the rainy season? I've always heard England has a long one. :C
And no, I don't usually have issues sleeping. Not unless I'm sick or something's bothering me; or sometimes on the rare occasion the weather makes my knees/ankles flare up and ache. The only other option is depression, and I refuse to be depressed. I hate the medication for it.

Good morning all. It is bright and sunny here today, but the sky is still a slightly strange colour from the volcano dust. There was a hot air balloon on the horizon this morning which would normally be very clear. Today it was masked a bit by the dust. I do live in a fairly rainy part of the country. We get an average of 30-40" of rain a year, but most of it is between October and April. When I lived in London we didn't get as much rain.

Man, it'd suck if it rained on Halloween. The kids probably wouldn't really care though, in the eagerness to get candy... xD
Today, it is also bright and sunny here, and actually warm! We've been struggling to actually manage to have summer here, which isn't totally unusual considering I live in the foothills of the Adirondacks. Sometimes we just can't have a totally good summer.
Going to be busy today though. Might be going out to do some photography, but mostly I'm just getting stuff done since it's my day off.

It doesn't rain every day, but you are lucky to get any blue skies. Halloween is not as big here as in the US, but we were staying at my mums for a few days and went round to a few of her friends. Here's a pic from Halloween.

Really!? Wow, I live for Halloween in the fall!! CANDY BABY!!! LMAO But that looks like a really cool setup. The only photo I have from this past Halloween is the one my mom took of me in my furisode. That would be this one:

Thanks! It was difficult to put on, because I had no help. But it's a lot of fun to wear. C:
So the day here is almost over, and it was actually just one of those days where I got heat-lazy... and haven't done much of anything. xD Slowly working on retouching backlogged photos, and working on my website for the most part. Doing the livestream thing in about an hour, and then a self defense seminar tonight. Busy... but lazy. xD

What time do you go to bed when you have to get up so early?
It's time for me to go to bed here very soon. Lots to do this weekend.

When I have to work at 5am, I'm up by 4am because it's a 20min drive to work in good weather, and 30 in bad. Thankfully, I've had some 8am shifts this week, which was a nice break.
As for a bed time... I try to be to bed by 10pm. But that doesn't always work.
