Right, so I'm going to host a Live Stream session on how I retouch photos, hopefully tonight at 6pm EST! I have some portraits, and I should also have some still life stuff as well.
I'm going to be letting my audience help me choose what to edit as well, so it'll be very interactive!
All questions will be answered, within reason, too. I'm going to show from import to export. So there will be key wording, my selection process, and my tweaks in Lightroom; and then my retouching in Photoshop.
I will be using a mic to chat with you guys though, and LS does not have CC before it is asked. But this will be the easiest way for me to communicate. Still, if you'd like to at least come and watch, that's fine too.
This is still tentative though, but I want everyone to know ahead of time so you can at least try to be there if it's a definite go and such if you're interested! I'll make a big post on here by 5:45pm EST to say one way or another, and if we are good at that point I'll post the channel link.

All right! Life is not going to get in the way of this, and after testing things out, we are green to go! So tune in at 6pm EST for a live session of retouching, chatter, and fun! My channel is here: www.livestream.com/SaknikaI'll be arriving around 5:30pm to do a quick meet and greet first, and make sure that everything is still working. So get there early if you'd like! We officially start at 6pm though!

Nice idea, but I myself wouldn't be able to attend nor understand anything said in there. But it's great to see you as a professional trying to show others how to do things. The local pro's here won't bother with assistants, grr.

Most pros won't take on an assistant with no formal education. They don't have time to really teach you from the ground up, more they're looking for someone with the basics down solid that's ready for the industry.
But yeah, LiveStream doesn't do CC, so you wouldn't be able to hear. You can still watch though, if it interests you. My screen will be shown so you can see what I'm doing at the very least.

I wish I stayed, but I really wanted to catch the sunset. I got some good shots. I might use one for the contest

And that's totally fine. I'll be doing another one soon enough--maybe as soon as next week. xD It definitely won't be as long this time though. LOL

Great to know that you guys had fun, =). Shame LS doesn't support CC, but eh, there aren't that many subtitled tutorial videos out there, anyway. I should probably start a movement in YouTube or something... *goes to think on it*
