They're coming out with new versions faster than new computers come out it seems like. >.> I still haven't gotten CS4, I haven't quite seen the need as everything I need to do I can do with CS3.

They're already coming out with CS5? That's not what I said. I only mentioned that CS5 & LR3 will not run on Power PC's. Though assuming the Mac version of CS5 will have to be completely re-written in a new format - Cocoa, that is not Power PC compliant - it is safe to say late 2010 to mid 2011. Adobe hints that the next full release of CS will happen when the "very" youngest Power-PC's are four years of age. Source. And I'm unsure when the last series of Power PC's were created so that exact year is still questionable for me. |
