I just got this program last week but unfortunately it didn't come with a manual. I started to look for tutorials and found just a few. However, they don't explain much. I want to be able to better understand the program so I can edit photos better and also design graphics, so could anyone help me out?
I am thinking about talking to a friend who's been a photographer and asking her if I could possibly borrow her manual as I think she uses Corel. :3

I think your best bet is on the internet. I use Photoshop CS3 currently and I've never used Corel so I can't be much help I'm afraid. Try to find an online manual or maybe a book on Amazon.

I've used the earlier versions, back when it was just Paint Shop Pro. Honestly, it's not built well for photo editing. You must have bought it used or something though, because they all come with manuals. I have a huge one that came with my copy. Way outdated compared to yours, but Corel sends manuals with their product last I knew. If not, the internet is a glorious thing.

I had bought it from Wal-Mart, and I do plan to buy the Abode version, when I can afford it. Hopefully it would come with the manual this time.
What do you suggest of the Abode that I get? I would like to try the programs necessary for it.
I did have GIMP but as you could see, no manuals, lol.

Adobe does not come with manuals, I don't think. But the ones for photographers are Lightroom and Photoshop.

All right. I never see them in the stores so I would have to order them off the Internet when I can.
What are the latest versions? Just wondering. Also, their usual price, if it's not a problem.
I would probably order that Bible first, the one for the photoshop, of course. XD

Photoshop is up to CS4, and runs about $600usd. Lightroom is into Beta 3, but v2 can be purchased for about $200.

I have both Lightroom and Photoshop, but honestly, GIMP is really good, and works for a lot of people. As for manuals for any of them, I wouldn't bother. There are some good online tutorials out there, but even better are the video podcasts that exist. They are pretty much all free, and you get tons of info.

800 DOLLARS?!
Time to rob a bank, I say. lol JK, but yeah, I cannot believe they are worth that much money. No wonder Corel isn't really nice, since it was $70.

Adobe is top-of-the-line, that's why.
