What kind of music do you listen to?
I'm going for the cliche answer and say I listen to everything, but my favorite genres are ska and any kind of rock including punk, classic, alternative, etc.

I will listen to anything but country, rap, most hip-hop and pop, and most gospel. And good god do I hate CHRISTMAS MUSIC. D:

I enjoy all music. The older I get the more I am open to anything that comes along. I do not come from the electronic age but I do embrace it. What better way to escape the nasty outside world by poping some earbuds in and listening to some music while I work,play take photos or whatever. No one elese needs to hear or know what I am listemsing to and it's all mine even in the middle of a conversation with someone else I can enjoy my music. like closing my eyes for a moment and becoming invisable and I make the choices.
Music while I take photos helps me focus a little better as well.

It varies for me... I can't stand most hip-hop and rap... Depending on my mood I'll pick something to match. While I draw, if I know what I'm going to be doing I listen to something with a fast paced beat, normally techno, otherwise coloring I just let it roll from slow to fast. Shuffle is my best friend when I don't know what I want to listen to. When I take photos, it's like I need to be fully absorbed in it. I block everything out, even if there is music on, getting the shots I want and need.

I don't listen to music when I photograph outside. I like to hear my surroundings. When I shoot studio work I always play something on my iPod Speakers when I'm on call or Surround Sound if I'm at home.

I enjoy pop, hip-hop, rap, r & b, reggaeton, some latina, techno, house, mixtapes and remixes.

I listen to almost literally everything...but I listen mainly to alternative/pop-rock stuff...I guess that's what it's called. I don't know, hah.

There's a great artist on deviantART who creates this sort of music. Not sure if you're familiar with "BT" but he does music similar to this (some of his songs are more "random" and "hard noted" than this but it's still good!) I own his CD/DVD collection of "This Binary Universe" which is his msot recent album. On a side note, he has a great voice too. He has four music videos on dA, one of which I linked you to here. |
