We all have them, those super cool techniques in photography that we admire. Are there any that you want to try out for yourself?
Right now, I'm looking to try out drop photography; where you capture water drops. They're so tranquil and pretty, making my own would be awesome.

I've been thinking of the same thing. I just need to find the right containers (transparent) and I'll be set! But what I really want to try is high-speed photography.

All you really need is a glass baking dish or bowl. You don't have any in your house?
By high-speed you mean stop action?

I'm sure I do, actually. Indeed. There's a way to do high-speed photography using a disposable camera and a microphone. But you need some soldering skills so those without will be at a loss. Once I find a microphone to trash I'll be set. I'll try and find the directions online again, as I'll need them to know where to solder wires and junk.

I think we're after different drops, but I can see why you'd want to go for that. Definitely pretty.

I've been wanting to try smoke photography for awhile (like this), but I don't really have a place to set it up.

When you do have the space though, it'll be a lot of fun.

Lately I've been doing a lot of concept testing with timelapses while driving at night. My latest set up worked out fairly well, so I'm hoping to refine the results a little further.

You've given me an idea. I'll test it out tomorrow night! What's your setup? Myself? OnOne DSLR Remote Professional for iPhone/iTouch and OnOne DSLR Remote Server on my Laptop and I plug my SLR into my laptop and control the photos via my iPod. I can set the intervalometre (time lapse) to take as numerous photos every so seconds, minutes, hours, or a combination of the few.
