I envy you Kara, that sounds like a wonderful place to live. You might want to try using the tree stand yourself to try to get photos of deer. I know if I had the opportunity, I would. Believe me, I've thought about doing just that. The deer come right up into our backyard though. I caught this little guy just a few feet from our back deck: Please ignore the deck railing in the bottom right corner. I had to take the photograph quickly before he took off, so there wasn't much time to compose the shot. Just for fun we named him Stilts.

LMAO No thanks though, WAAAAAY too many people for me. ; Smart drunk people stay over. xP I don't mind living in the city, where there is a fairly decent public transit system put into place. I hate living out in the 'burbs for the fact of how unsustainable the way of life is and that nothing is within reasonable walking distance.

I live in an urban area but lots of beauty spots within a short drive or maybe a bit longer walk.
53°32'3.85"N 1° 7'6.48"W paste these coords into google earth, this should bring you directly over the house where I live.
The scenic countryside is not that far away such as North Yorkshire & the Peak District National Park. Just type into a search engine Peak district and look at images, you will see some realy stunning views and Photographs of that breathtaking area.
My kind of place would be like where karababy47 lives.
